Introducing the Kenyan Lenana for the Signature Series

First of all, how cool is this logo?! It's not often we purchase green coffee with its own logo, let alone one that is totally badass. As a company proud of our own branding, we must give the Kenyan Lenana a tip of the cap.

More importantly, however, is the quality of the coffee. And following tradition here at Everette's, this stuff is good!

The Lenana coffee beans are sourced from the Mount Kenya region of Kenya, specifically the counties of Muranga, Kiambu and Kirinyaga, which are all on the southern side of the famous mountain. The brand name Lenana comes from Point Lenana, which is one of the most popular hiking peaks on the mountain.

More from the supplier website:

The deep red and black volcanic soils, rich in organic matter, along with the high elevations ranging from 1,500 to 1,700 meters (4,900 to 5,500 feet) above sea level, enhance the development of rich flavors and natural sugars in the coffee cherries.

Kenyan green coffee beans are renowned for their bold, fruit-forward flavors and complex acidity.

We're excited to launch the Kenyan Lenana as our next coffee in the Signature Series. We've roasted it to a light-medium level, and in it you can find tasting notes of dark chocolate, black currant, grapefruit, and black tea.

Get yourself a bag here and let us know what you think, either by shooting us a note here or DMing us on Instagram. Happy sipping!
